I forgot to post this a couple weeks ago when i took the picture. Its a poster of the Panther Manifesto at the time. The crazy/cool things my vegan teacher from Minnesota is with this guy who’s mother user to live in Cali or something and that’s where they got this poster. Both look like little white hippies who wouldnt be ‘down’ with any radical cause. Let alone display such literature/material on their living room wall. But when my teacher showed me the picture months ago on her phone i was DETERMINED to see it.
My father was a panther and doesnt even have any memorabilia this grand. So when I saw it I had to take a picture and just appreciate this piece of history for a minute. These brothers and sisters had the RIGHT idea in the WRONG time. Withouth the transparency offered by modern day technology/social networking, the government was free to infiltrate and destroy the noble group that was The Real Black Panthers. But as they taught and believed: “You can kill a revolutionary, but you can’t kill a revolutionary.”
The fight is far from over and the revolution is one hundreds of years in the making. It cannot be stopped or derailed. Peace.
